Barrage eSports is a multi platform eSports organisation based in the United Kingdom. Founded in 2014 they have become one of UK console eSports most recognisable brands and they continue to go from strength to strength. Barrage eSports has been home to some of the UK's top talent in Call of Duty and has grown to having teams in arenas such as FIFA, CS:GO, Gears of War and Halo.
After a change in management structure, Barrage eSports came to us to have a brand new website created for their organisation. The brief was to create a website that could be used as the central hub for information in and around the organisation, it needed to include external links to their partnership sites as well as portals for media and a blog system for the release of latest news. Having previously worked with Barrage eSports to perfect their branding we had a great understanding of what they were looking for and set about to bring the new website to life.
Stage 1 - The Ground Work
Before work could begin on the website we needed to establish how Barrage wanted to display themselves with regards to colour schemes and typography. Using their existing mascot logo we created a text based logo to match and our talented design team came up with a fully customised font to achieve this. We also utilised the existing colour palette of deep blues. Finally we decided on a universal typography that Barrage will use across all platforms to promote brand continuity.

Stage 2 - The Build
With the branding, colour palette and typography all finalised it was team to move on to the websites build. We created a simple design that was completely based around ease of navigation. Barrage were keen to ensure that every area of the website could be reached from the navigation bar. We set up sub pages to allow for this, and by using a grey theme it gives the website a crisp and professional look. We also created on page designs for Barrage' teams that encapsulates the brand, and made use of an embedding feature to ensure that media clicks are also reflected on the company's YouTube channel.

Stage 3 - The Finished Article
The finished website is something which we are very happy to share with you. We met the spec supplied by Barrage and created the framework that they can now grow with moving forward. We have installed a Visinatus Content Management System and have trained all of the Barrage eSports staff to use it. The keys have been handed over and we are looking forward to seeing what it becomes. The final website is jam packed with features such as the media hub with a picture gallery system, embedded YouTube player and an integrated blog system.
