The ApeX is a local company based in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire. It is a customised van packed full of the latest gaming technology, high definition monitors, Xbox One consoles, built in surround sound all playing the latest games. It's pretty awesome. The ApeX specialises in children's parties, local events, weddings, school fairs and more. They are fully mobile so the best part is, they come to YOU.
The ApeX came to us some time ago to create the initial branding for the company, they went away and started their business using a website they decided to create themselves. Two years on they asked us to create them a professional website that they will use to advertise their party packages and showcase their previous work. The former website was clunky and cold, they had used a drag and drop CMS to allow them to create the site but without any experience in HTML 5 or CSS they had limited ability. This is where Visinatus stepped in.
Stage 1 - The Ground Work
Having already created the ApeX logo we knew what we were working with, we based the ground work around the logo and chose the colour palette and typography based on what would best suit the brand. The company wanted the website to be clean yet inviting and Typography and colour palette are essential to creating this.
Stage 2 - The Build
The website build involved several steps to create the look that the ApeX wanted, they weren't keen on the idea of having the top of the pages taken over by a navigation bar. To avoid this we created a hidden menu to give the website a cleaner look but the flyout menu allows the user to navigate to any particular page with ease. after consulting with the ApeX in regards to the websites layout and with the base coding done it was time to start adding content. The ApeX wanted to create advert banners that could showcase their products, prices and technology without it being over bearing for potential customers.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Stage 3 - The Finished Article
The completed website is jam packed with features that have been designed to improve the look and feel of the website as well as providing useful tools for the ApeX to generate sales from. The website includes a full list of services, a showcase gallery that includes a selection of images from their previous work, products advertisement, booking options and the ability for customers to pay a deposit directly to the ApeX using a built in PayPal button function. It has also been fitted with a CMS like their previous website that will allow them to fully customise the site in the future.
